Welcoming Industry Veteran & Former President of DHL Freight, John Mugnaini to United Transportation

As United Transportation continues its journey of growth and transformation, I’m thrilled to welcome John Mugnaini as our new Chief Commercial Officer.

John brings a wealth of experience from his years leading global freight operations at DHL, where he helped drive commercial excellence and build lasting partnerships across the globe. His leadership, insight, and track record in scaling logistics organizations will play a key role as we expand our reach from our strong foundation at O’Hare International Airport to major hubs across the country.

When I acquired United Transportation earlier this year, our vision was clear: to build on 15 years of trusted performance and evolve into a national logistics leader — one rooted in operational excellence, innovation, and a customer-first mindset. John’s arrival marks another important step toward that vision.

He will be working closely with me and our SVP of Sales, Tom Keenan, to drive new partnerships, expand our commercial footprint, and elevate the customer experience. Together, we’re not just moving freight — we’re building a modern logistics network that connects people, products, and possibilities safely and efficiently.
